Release 9.4.0 removes size limits from the CAN and I²C endpoints and makes the software package easier to integrate into projects with strict compiler settings.

  • The CAN and CAN-FD Endpoints now support an unlimited number of frames.
  • The I2C-Target Endpoint now supports an unlimited number of transfers and an unlimited total data size for writes.
  • The software package compiles with -Werror=vla and -Werror=strict-prototypes.
  • The new compile flag EP_CUSTOM_MAIN lets your code define its own main function without modifying the software package.
