The ExecutionPlatform is an evolving product. We are consistently learning from our customers usage.

We greatly appreciate all the positive feedback we receive — it confirms that our testing solution effectively addresses real user challenges. Even more valuable, however, is well-reasoned critical feedback. It provides us with opportunities to refine the product and make it even better.

Some improvements can be delivered purely through software updates. Others require changes to the physical hardware. Our goal is to bundle these hardware enhancements into a new generation roughly every two years. As part of our license policy, all customers with an active license package receive these hardware upgrades free of charge—a way of thanking our loyal users.

We are excited to announce the upcoming fifth generation of ExecutionPlatform hardware (Rev-E) coming in fall 2025.

What’s New in Rev-E

Rev-E introduces a host of powerful new features:

  • 8 independent analog inputs for sampling analog signals generated by the DUT.
  • 24 independent analog outputs (up from 4) for generating analog signals consumed by the DUT.
  • Increased resources to support more complex configurations.
  • 8 shared logic analyzer outputs, configurable for both digital and analog signals without rewiring.
  • Network and user settings reset button, returning the device to factory defaults.
  • Streamlined connections: the second Ethernet port for special debugging is discontinued and replaced by more flexible DUT PCB connection options.

Upcoming Features Enabled by Hardware

Several features are already built into the hardware and will be activated through future software updates:

  • Configurable DUT Vcc power
  • DUT power consumption measurement
  • USB connection for the logic analyzer

Rev-E is designed to give our users greater flexibility, performance, and ease of use, while maintaining backward compatibility and supporting the evolving needs of complex testing environments.
